On Monday Twitter announced a new platform called “@Anywhere”. According to Twitter the initial participants of Twitter @Anywhere platform will be Amazon, AdAge, Bing, Citysearch, Digg, eBay, The Huffington Post, Meebo, MSN, The New York Times, Yahoo and YouTube.

Dropshippers who use eBay as a dropshipping marketplace take the help of Twitter to tell their followers and people in their social network about an amazing product. Twitter has played an important part in the success of a lot of online businesses. Therefore, eBay has showed its inclination towards Twitter’s @anywhere platform and now the eBay users will be able to follow their favorite post writers directly from eBay’s website without getting navigated from the main page. They can also post different things directly from eBay website to their twitter accounts. This will save time for them and allow them to send a quick message to their social network.

There are a lot of people in the online market who do not trust Twitter anymore because they think Twitter is being used completely for business purposes now. Dropshippers have been using wrong means to promote their product through twitter. They have come up with a lot of fake identities on Twitter and they entice the buyers to purchase the products. Dropshipper uses Twitter to market and sell products. Some of the eBay users feel that with the live feeds about the products on eBay being displayed through Twitter @Anywhere will cause the buyers to make wrong purchasing decisions and the dropshippers will be able to promote their products and business by telling fake rumors. The eBay users who dislike Twitter think that eBay must not partner with the @Anywhere platform.

What change will Twitter @Anywhere bring is a huge discussion now. Its launch will determine whether it will prove to be helpful for buyers on eBay or it will benefit the dropshippers and sellers at eBay only.
